Question1: What do I do if I have a concern about a potential ethical issue, but am not quite sure if it warrents a complaint?
Answer1: Go to our Documents Page and download Form A, which is a Request for an Advisory Opinion. Your concern will be acted on promptly.
Question2: Are Preston Ethics Commission meetings open to the public?
Answer2: Yes. However as required by the Preston Code of Ethics all Closed Meetings are confidential in order to maintain the confidentiality of the investigation.
Question3: When does the Preston Ethics Commissions hold its meetings?
Answer3: The Ethics Commission holds it regular meetings at 7:00 PM on the first Wednesday of each quarter. Location and times of all meetings will be published on our Minutes, Calendar page on this website. Note: For 2008 our Regular Meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Preston Public Library Community Room.
Question 4: Is there a Public Question & Comment portion of an Ethics Commission Meeting?
Answer4: Yes, but the Ethics Commission Chairman does reserve the right to moderate the number of questions and comments and the time allocated to them.
