NLPS held its membership meeting at the home of Caroliine Driscoll, overlooking New London harbor on 27 Nov 2006. This was an informal get-together with pizza and soda. Our guest speaker was Gwendolyn Siena, who is an Environmentatl Analyst with the CT DEP. She talked on Best Management Practices for the operation and maintenance of your boat. After her talk, the members present received updates on upcoming events, the current office holders who replaced those who recently resigned, and upcoming changes to our Squadron publication the Yardarm. Treasurer Tony Salzarulo gave an update on Anniversary Billing which we are looking into, and cited correspondence recently received from the National Treasurer that could move us forward on this. Webmaster Bob Payette reported that we are going back to snail-mailing a full print Yardarm to all our members, rather then mail the preview with links to the on-line editions. The PDF version and Blog version will still be available and linked from the NLPS website.
