Moose Festival 2006

The Payette's (Bob & Alice, Tony, Nicki and the kids) went to the Moose Festival which was held in the Colebrook area of New Hampshire, on Aug 25th-27th 2006. Tony's father-in-law Guy and Cathy live in Pittsburg NH (the most Northern town in NH) and we spent time there, in Canaan Vermont and at Dixville Notch. We parked our motor home at the Mohawk Valley Camping area outside of Colebrook on Rt 26, so the snapshots in this album cover a bit of ground. We DID finally see a moose in Moose Alley (Rt 3 near the Canadian border), We also saw three deer, two fox and a mink....the area has a LOT of wildlife for sure :). The last five photos in this album were sent to us by Guy and Cathy and we scanned them into the album. Alice won a Kayak at the raffle in Canaan (where they had the car show and Cathy won a laser engraved moose wood carving which was neat. The cars at the car show in Canaan VT paraded the night before in Colebrook and also did a tour up to Dixville Notch).
