A rainy spring day found many members of D/1 at the Spring Conference which featured the Election and Installation of Officers and General Committee Chairs. A spirited Message from the Chief Commander was given by P/C/C Theodore Smith, SN. His topics included information on a proposed multi-year small dues increase and the reason it was necessary and on-line testing for public safe boating courses. There were several "breakout" sessions that focused on VSC, Cooperative Charting, Education and incoming officer needs. MANY of our members received awards, and you'll see your shipmates in a variety of settings in this album.
