Our last Boat Smart Course began on October 18th, 2006. For 2007 we have scheduled a BoatSmart Course to begin with registration on 28 Feb 2007 which will run through 28 March 2007. These courses are being held in the Public Safety Building, Waterford Police Dept, Boston Post Rd, Waterford CT.

We do not charge for the instruction but there will be a $30.00 charge for the books and class supplies (BoatSmart) which we collect on the opening class night (cash or check...no charge cards at this time). If you’d like specific course material pricing, contact M. Ellen Barbour or Cdr. Henry Curtis by E-mail or telephone as listed below.

It would be helpful if you brought a #2 pencil and a pocket calculator to class with you. We will register your passing grade with our national organization after the exam so there will be a permanent record of your having taken our Course. Passing the course also makes you eligible to join the United States Power Squadron® and take advanced courses such as Piloting and Seamanship. We look forward to seeing you in class. Thank you!
